Since we started in 2002 with just two of us working out of a conservatory, we think you will agree we have come a long way.

The motivation for Simon Carter and Mike Dawes to set up the business was to follow a new approach to financial planning. Both disillusioned with the ‘sell, sell, sell’ mentality of some large financial institutions, they were determined to build a practice where the ethos was to put clients at the centre. They also extended this to their philosophy with their advisers in that there are no sales targets or performance meetings. Instead, it is first and foremost about meeting clients’ needs.

In 2010 the firm expanded further with the decision to take on another team of advisers and open the Ipswich office.

The business has continued to grow and we are proud to be a thriving group of advisers who manage a high level of funds. However, our original commitment to a client centric culture remains as strong as ever and lies at the heart of the bespoke nature of our financial planning.
